What an extraordinary Padel Tennis event we have just witnessed! After 37 years of being part of the ACOBA committee, I have never seen such enthusiasm, involvement, and dedication from all of our members. The participation in our recent event—from the Class of 1984 all the way to the Class of 2020—spanning 36 years of Aitchison representation, was truly remarkable.

For the first time, we witnessed an outstanding level of engagement from the younger alumni, and I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude to all the participants. Your enthusiasm has given us a tremendous moral boost, and it was fantastic to see so many of you actively involved. This is exactly what ACOBA needed, and I encourage all of you to continue your engagement with ACOBA and its future events. Your involvement makes a difference and motivates us to host even more events that bring us together.

It was also wonderful to see families attending and cheering on the participants, further strengthening the sense of community within ACOBA. The total participation, including players, organizers, and spectators, exceeded 250, making this one of the largest ACOBA events ever, second only to our annual dinner. I must commend each and every one of you for making this event such a resounding success.

With such a strong turnout and the dedication shown by all, I hope we can make this event a bi-annual tradition, with even greater participation in the future.
